Spring is in Session

What’s your favorite part about spring?

With college kids already in full spring break mode throwing back lemon drops (cue the James Franco spring breakers voice), I am working a full schedule with the rest of the Brikmoda team planning weddings, creating content for clients, getting our store set to go and being a mom. But spring is always one of the freshest seasons because of the fashion. So what better way to kick off the season with a few favorite spring style picks…

Matching Sets

The Salty Blonde knows how to show off her sun kissed skin in a matching set. The loose fitting high waist pants to the low cut front is perfect for any spring day. It can be casual with sandals and your favorite pair of sunglasses or you can simply slip into heels for a night out. If you plan on getting away for a weekend, pack this in your to go bag!

This look also falls into the matching set category but the tassel detailing took the cake. Being obsessed with just about boho everything, this look that Shay Mitchell pulls off is a winner. Tassels were made for wearing and this set is the definition of a boho outfit that hits the style target spot on. Thank you Shay for gracing us with this attire!

If you are looking for something simple to make a statement, opt for ruffles. Blogger Sincerely Jules paired a ruffle top with a denim skirt and it is the springiest outfit without overdoing it. If you are brunching by the beach or just out for weekend drinks, when it’s warm, replicate this look to take that well deserved OOTD photo!

Obviously with spring break you need a go to bikini. High waist swimwear is always flattering and when it comes in tropical print never second guess yourself. The yellow tone with the mix of pastel colors from this LA Hearts suit shouts spring! It is also a great bikini to wear through all the hot sunny days from now till the end of summer.

Yellow is a great accent color to add to any outfit. Jamie Chung has come a long way since the Real World and she’s become a beloved style icon. Her crop top look with denim cut offs reminds us that spring is here. The yellow touches from the sunglasses down to her sandals, remember that yellow is always a good idea.

Spring is now in session!
