Going from full time fashion stylist to a mom has made life different. Different for all things good and I wouldn’t be where I am today without the people surrounding me. I became a wife to my best friend, we bought a house and grew together as a couple and as parents. Now that I’ve had a little over a year to adjust to being a mom plus new responsibilities, trying to balance work life now comes into play. I decided it’s time to pursue down the path of what I love and share that all with you.
Brikmoda started as a hobby, a place to share my favorite fashion trends and cool photos I found online. There was no Instagram at the time, “bloggers” did not claim fame and Jeffrey Campbell platform heels were seriously the best thing that could of happened to my closet back in early 2010. Although the name Brikmoda is not known and I’m not Rocky Barnes, whom I adore, I intend on taking things outside the box with my love for writing, style and being creative. I love clothes, I love everything about fashion and if we are getting deep down into my soul, I love interior design.
For years I’ve accumulated clients as a one woman freelancer and I’m continuing Brikmoda as a creative firm company with a little something more… I want to create! Whether you need your house redecorated, you want to set up a theme for your 3 years old’s birthday party, you need an outfit for your toddler or you want to find a one-of-a-kind chair for the corner of your living room, Brikmoda is now going to be a shopable blog and service for all those needs! I will also be going back to my roots and posting outfit articles #YAY.
My small team and I are ready to work! With an interior styling client already under our wing, to booking a first event planning gig and now to introduce Brikmoda Kids and Brikmoda Home that will be available to shop this June, Brikmoda is still a blog but with personality!
I’m not just Kelsey the mom, wife and the blogger… I am also Brikmoda.
