This year has gone in the blink of an eye and we have witnessed so many new styles, trends, and designer hits and misses. The fashion world is raving about one thing on a Monday then moving on to the next on Tuesday, it is always evolving and changing in the same sense as bits and pieces through seasons. When it comes to weather seasons, you start to see different color palettes all around you, especially in the trees when living somewhere that lets you experience Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter.
Seasonal fashion is a way to recreate your wardrobe to fit weather appropriate days. Sometimes you can even carry over a piece from Summer to Fall and in an instants into Winter.
We have scrounged up our favorite looks thus far for this season and are pretending we are in New York on the Upper Eastside like Serena Vanderwoodsen, even though we are in Seattle, and showing off ensembles that are styles to talk about.

All time favorite piece is a leather jacket. A fashion girl always needs at least three maybe four leather jackets in her outerwear wardrobe, excessive much? We don’t think so! Whether it be a classic all black style or with bold hardware, a leather jacket will NEVER go out of style. Look back at fashion through the eras, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and today, there will always be an ensemble put together with a leather jacket.

Black is the new black, right?
A complete outfit with black pieces reminds us of that New York fashion girl going to the dive bar after work and we absolutely are obsessed with this look. Once again, the leather jacket meets the little black casual dress and heeled booties, what is there not to love about this get up? Effortless hair makes the perfect match made in heaven.

If a pair of boyfriend jeans isn’t in your closet staples then you have been living under a rock…
Denim is always going to be a fashion piece we all love and when it comes to boyfriend jeans, they can be worn in a variety of ways that can depict your mood and look. They are comfortable, causal, chic and made for all shapes and sizes. Make your look laid back with sneakers or throw on heels for a more uppity vibe.

At times when we do not want to throw on jeans cause you are feeling a little constricted, reach for that statement skirt. This Opening Ceremony Walt Side-Tie Skirt is ideal and can be quit cozy for the cold weather even with little exposed skin. The tie transforms this piece into something more thank just a skirt, it’s art. Long sleeves for more cover and you have a faultless combination.
Raining in Seattle? Who cares you are only showing a little leg.

Speaking of legs for days…
Flare jumpsuits are feminine and trendy, if you want to take things to another level, a lace turtle neck is a great piece to have for the season. Long sleeve lace can transform any outfit into something unique and it will definitely have people turning heads. Deep V jumpsuits weren’t made for only going out, combine with a laced turtle neck and you found its soulmate.
Seattle may be rainy but we won’t let that rain on our style parade.
Pick and choose your bits and pieces to keep hanging for the next month or two… And don’t forget your leather jacket.
